The Mirage 30 was designed by Robert Perry and introduced in 1984. It is a modern 3 cabin arrangement. It sails well in all types of wind and has as much room inside as much longer boats. Mirages Yachts of Pointe Claire Quebec, established a sound reputation in the Canadian boat market for building sensible boats for sensible prices. The company noted that "beam, stability and stiffness, along with a quick underbody and inboard genoa tracks, enable her to travel in fast company in all points of the compass. The fiberglass hulls have an unsurpassed reputation for strength and lack of crazing."
